Users will Get the Full Refund
Since its release late last week the console offering of Cyberpunk 2077 has become an immense source of contention, with numerous rumours of the widely awaited title being more or less unplayable on Sony PS4, Xbox One and One S based consoles.
Frustrated players have brought developer CD Projekt to the challenge of producing Cyberpunk 2077 console versions rife with unspeakable graphical problems and game-crashing bugs.
Now, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has announced the withdrawal of Cyberpunk 2077 from its PlayStation Shop in reaction to the uproar from PS4 players, and is giving full refunds to those who bought the game through its online store.
It is clear that Sony takes the matter very seriously, as the change still forbids PS4 Pro and PS5 players from digitally buying the title, despite the fact that these versions are much more stable.
Since then, CD Projekt has apologised for the status of the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Cyberpunk 2077 and has vowed to “fix bug and crashes and improve the overall experience.”
